   Yarn and knit

   Stripes are knitted in on flatbed machines by changing yarn colour row by row, so they are part of the fabric. The standard yarn is acrylic, which keeps colours bright and the price friendly. For spring and autumn ranges, the sweater can be knitted in cotton yarn for a lighter, year-round feel; the exact composition is stated on the quote and the care label.

4. 04

   Customization and branding

   Patterns, stripes and colours follow your design and are knitted in, not printed. We turn your artwork or reference into a knit file and show you a mockup before sampling; colours are matched to your references where the yarn allows. Your logo can be knitted in or embroidered, and woven neck labels, hang tags and retail packing finish the order. Mr Balaclava’s name never appears on your products.

   Sizes and fit

   The sweater is cut to a regular fit as standard, with a relaxed or oversized fit for fashion ranges. Adult sizes run from XS to 3XL, and kids sizes of about 4–14 years can be knitted in the same stripe for school or family ranges. The sweater can also be graded to your own size chart.

   Sampling and production

Bulk production usually takes about 14 days after sample approval, and the schedule is confirmed for each order. Every piece is checked, packed to your specification and shipped with tracking.
