Buyer's guide
What is a hooded balaclava?
A hooded balaclava is a balaclava built into a hood, like the top of a hoodie. The hood covers the head and falls over the shoulders, so wind cannot get in at the neck, and a drawstring lets the wearer close it around the face.
It sells to buyers who want more coverage and a stronger look than a standard balaclava. For a slimmer shape that fits under a helmet, see our open face balaclavas.

FAQ
Hooded balaclavas: frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order for hooded balaclavas?
The minimum order is 50 pieces per design. Larger runs are made on the same lines, with a monthly capacity of around 100,000 pieces.
What is the difference between a hooded balaclava and a regular balaclava?
A regular balaclava fits closely around the head and neck. A hooded balaclava adds a roomy hood that covers the shoulders and can be tightened with a drawstring, so it gives more coverage and a hoodie-like look.
Can the hood have a drawstring and a neck flap?
Yes. We can add an adjustable drawstring around the face opening, change the hood depth, and extend the neck flap so it covers the collar line.
Where can our logo go on a hooded balaclava?
On the forehead, the cheek, the back of the hood or the neck flap. We embroider in flat or 3D stitching, print, or apply woven labels and rubber patches, and send a mockup of every placement first.
How long does hooded balaclava production take?
Samples are sent within 5–7 days of your order. Once the sample is approved, standard lead time is 14 days; 7 days is possible on request. Complex products or very large orders (100,000–200,000 pcs) can take up to one month. Express shipping by DHL, FedEx or UPS then takes 3–6 working days.
