Buyer's guide

Why brands choose mesh

A solid balaclava traps warm, moist air in front of the mouth. Mesh lets it out: the wearer breathes more easily, sweat evaporates faster and goggles or visors fog less. That is why mesh is used where the wearer is active or the weather is warm, and why many winter styles add a mesh panel only at the mouth.

  • Motorcycling and cycling

Breathable helmet liners with a mesh mouth panel for long rides in any season.

  • Summer and sun

Light mesh balaclavas that cover the head and neck from sun and dust without overheating.

  • Training and running

Stretch mesh for workouts and runs, when a solid fabric would be too warm.

  • Airsoft and outdoor

Camouflage mesh for airsoft, hunting and outdoor ranges.

FAQ

Mesh balaclavas: frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for mesh balaclavas?

The minimum order is 50 pieces per design. Larger runs are made on the same lines, with a monthly capacity of around 100,000 pieces.

Is a mesh balaclava warm enough for winter?

A full mesh balaclava is made for airflow, not warmth. For winter we usually combine a warm fabric on the head and neck with a mesh panel only at the mouth, so the wearer stays warm and still breathes easily.

Can mesh balaclavas be printed?

Yes. Polyester mesh takes sublimation prints such as camouflage and digital patterns well, and logos can be embroidered or added as rubber patches on solid areas.

How long does mesh balaclava production take?

Samples are sent within 5–7 days of your order. Once the sample is approved, standard lead time is 14 days; 7 days is possible on request. Complex products or very large orders (100,000–200,000 pcs) can take up to one month. Express shipping by DHL, FedEx or UPS then takes 3–6 working days.
