Buyer's guide
When to choose cotton
Cotton is a natural, breathable fibre that feels soft against the face and does not trap heat, so a cotton balaclava stays comfortable through long wear and in changing temperatures. It is less warm than wool or fleece and dries more slowly, so it suits everyday wear and milder cold rather than high-exertion winter sport.
For extreme cold, see our cold weather balaclavas; for sport and helmets, see mesh balaclavas.

FAQ
Cotton balaclavas: frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order for cotton balaclavas?
The minimum order is 50 pieces per design. Larger runs are made on the same lines, with a monthly capacity of around 100,000 pieces.
Is a cotton balaclava warm enough for winter?
For everyday winter wear and mild cold, yes. For skiing, extreme cold or intense activity, wool, merino or fleece are warmer and dry faster, and we often recommend them instead.
Are cotton balaclavas good for sensitive skin?
Cotton is a soft, natural fibre that many people with sensitive skin find more comfortable than synthetic fabrics. If comfort on the skin is a selling point for your range, cotton is a good choice.
How long does cotton balaclava production take?
Samples are sent within 5–7 days of your order. Once the sample is approved, standard lead time is 14 days; 7 days is possible on request. Complex products or very large orders (100,000–200,000 pcs) can take up to one month. Express shipping by DHL, FedEx or UPS then takes 3–6 working days.
