Buyer's guide

Motorcycle and cycling balaclavas compared

Both sit under a helmet, but the rider's needs differ. Motorcyclists face strong wind at speed and wear a closed helmet, so warmth, wind protection and a long neck matter most. Cyclists work harder and wear vented helmets, so breathability and a thin, light fabric come first.

FAQ

Motorcycle and cycling balaclavas: frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for motorcycle balaclavas?

The minimum order is 50 pieces per design. Larger runs are made on the same lines, with a monthly capacity of around 100,000 pieces.

Can you make summer and winter versions of the same balaclava?

Yes. We can keep the same pattern and branding and change the fabric: a thin cooling Lycra for summer and a brushed or windproof fabric for winter, so your range covers the whole year.

Will the balaclava work with glasses and full-face helmets?

That is what we design for: a thin crown with flat seams, an eye opening shaped for glasses, and a neck long enough to stay tucked in. We test the fit in the sample with the helmet types you name.

Do you make balaclavas for riding clubs and events?

Yes. Clubs, races and dealers order branded riding balaclavas from 50 pieces per design, with embroidered or sublimated logos in their own colours.

How long does motorcycle balaclava production take?

Samples are sent within 5–7 days of your order. Once the sample is approved, standard lead time is 14 days; 7 days is possible on request. Complex products or very large orders (100,000–200,000 pcs) can take up to one month. Express shipping by DHL, FedEx or UPS then takes 3–6 working days.
