A sports crew sock made to the client's design: a royal-blue leg with three orange stripes, a light-grey foot and a blue heel and toe. The client's wordmark is knitted into the sole and the top of the foot in blue, so it is part of the sock rather than printed on.
Our Solution
The socks are knitted in one piece directly from yarn — no fabric is cut or sewn. The stripes and the wordmark are knitted in (jacquard), the leg has a ribbed structure for a close fit and a ribbed band across the arch helps the sock stay in place. The cuff is knitted double, and the heel and toe are knitted in blue to match the leg.
Detailed Result
The finished pairs follow the design colour for colour: three even orange stripes on the leg, a clean grey foot and the wordmark sitting straight on the sole and the instep.
