Custom balaclavas by style
Balaclava with Hair Hole Manufacturer
A balaclava with a hair hole has an opening at the back of the head, so a ponytail, bun, braids or locs pass through instead of being squashed inside. Mr Balaclava manufactures hair-hole balaclavas to order in stretch fabrics under your label, from 50 pieces per design and with a standard lead time of 14 days.

Buyer's guide
Why a hair opening matters
Pushing long hair into a regular balaclava is uncomfortable: it pulls, flattens the hair and makes the fit bulky under a helmet. A dedicated opening lets the hair out, keeps the balaclava flat against the head and makes it easier to put on and take off.
For long hair and locs that should stay covered, the extended version adds a longer back panel instead of an opening.

FAQ
Hair-hole balaclavas: frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order for hair-hole balaclavas?
The minimum order is 50 pieces per design. Larger runs are made on the same lines, with a monthly capacity of around 100,000 pieces.
Where is the hair opening placed?
Usually at the back of the head for a ponytail, or higher up for a bun. We size and place the opening to your target customer and confirm it in the sample.
Do you make balaclavas for long hair and locs without an opening?
Yes. Our extended balaclava has a longer back panel that covers long hair and locs completely, which suits riders who wear a full-face helmet.
How long does hair-hole balaclava production take?
Samples are sent within 5–7 days of your order. Once the sample is approved, standard lead time is 14 days; 7 days is possible on request. Complex products or very large orders (100,000–200,000 pcs) can take up to one month. Express shipping by DHL, FedEx or UPS then takes 3–6 working days.
