About this category

What Materials & Fabrics covers

The fabric decides how a product feels, how warm or breathable it is, how it takes a print and how long it lasts. This category compares the materials we work with every day: knitting yarns such as acrylic, wool, cashmere, bamboo and organic cotton for beanies; brushed and peached polyester, mesh and spacer fabrics for balaclavas; cotton, wool and blends for caps; and silk, chiffon, georgette and viscose for scarves and hijabs.

Each guide explains the practical difference rather than the marketing term: knit gauges and yarns, silk momme weights, which mesh suits which panel, and what a finish changes on the skin and under a print.

Once you have narrowed down your choice, the Fabric & Material Library describes each fabric in detail, and our team confirms availability for your order. We source materials from OEKO-TEX certified mills, with the certificate available on request.
