FAQ
Private label and OEM: frequently asked questions
What is the difference between private label and OEM?
Private label means we produce one of our existing styles with your branding, labels and packaging. OEM means we produce your own design to your specification. ODM is OEM where we develop the design with you from a brief, and white label means an unbranded stock product you label yourself.
What is the minimum for a private label order?
50 pieces per design, the same as for OEM and ODM. Colours and sizes can be split within the design; the split is confirmed with the quote.
How long does a private label order take?
Using a stock style, about four weeks from brief to delivery: a mockup, an optional sample, 14 days of production and 3–6 business days of shipping. OEM and ODM orders add the tech pack and sample stage, so count five to seven weeks for a first order.
Do you keep my designs confidential?
Yes. Designs, mockups and tech packs developed for you are not shown to or produced for other customers. We sign NDAs on request.
Can I order blank products and brand them myself?
Yes. White label orders from the B2B Collection ship with blank labels and no branding, from 50 pieces per style.
Can you handle labelling rules for my market?
Yes. Fibre content, country of origin, care symbols and the languages required by your market go on the labels as specified in the tech pack. For claims such as organic or flame-resistant we supply the mill or lab documentation on request.
