Buyer's guide

What makes a good ski mask

A ski mask has to do three things at once: keep the face warm in wind, fit flat under a helmet, and let breath escape so the goggles do not fog. That is why ski masks use thin stretch or fleece fabrics, shaped eye openings that meet the goggle frame and breathable or mesh panels at the mouth.

A ski mask completes a ski wear range in the same colours and branding as the jackets. For every balaclava style, from knitted to tactical, see our main custom balaclava page and the neck gaiter page.

Ski masks and balaclavas

Ski balaclavas in fleece, merino and stretch jersey

We make ski masks in polyester microfleece and polar fleece for warmth, merino jersey for comfort and odour resistance, and polyester/spandex stretch jersey for a thin fit under the helmet, with mesh panels at the mouth so goggles do not fog. Polyester masks can be sublimation-printed edge to edge in the colours and patterns of your ski range.

Ski socks

What makes a good ski sock

A ski sock reaches over the calf so it sits smoothly under the boot cuff, with no seams or folds that cause pressure. Cushioning is placed only where the boot presses, on the shin, heel and toe, so the sock stays thin enough for a precise boot fit. Merino blends keep feet warm and dry and resist odour.

Helmet-friendly beanies

Beanies for under and after the helmet

A ski beanie has to be thin enough to wear under a helmet and warm enough for the lift queue and après-ski. We make close-fitting knit beanies in your colours with a knitted-in or embroidered logo, matched to the masks and socks of the same range.

FAQ

Ski masks and accessories: frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for ski accessories?

The minimum order is 50 pieces per design.

How should a ski mask fit under a helmet?

Close and flat, without folds at the forehead or temples. Thin fleece or stretch jersey and a shaped eye opening that meets the goggle frame give the best fit.

How do you stop goggles from fogging?

Breathable or mesh panels at the mouth let warm, moist breath escape downwards instead of up into the goggles.

Which fabric is warmest for a ski mask?

Polar fleece is the warmest; microfleece and merino are thinner and fit better under a helmet. We suggest the fabric for your climate.

Can our logo be knitted into the sock?

Yes. Logos, names and patterns are knitted in as jacquard, so they last as long as the sock.

Can masks, socks and beanies match our ski wear?

Yes. Accessories can be made in the same colours, prints and branding as your jackets and pants, and ordered together with them.

How long does ski accessory production take?

Standard production lead time is approximately 14 days after sample approval. Actual lead time depends on the product, quantity, customization and material availability, and the confirmed schedule is agreed for each order. Express shipping by DHL, FedEx or UPS then takes 3–6 working days.
