   Yarn and knit

   The sweater is knitted on flatbed machines in acrylic yarn at 12 gauge, which gives a smooth, smart surface for office and staff wear and is easy to care for. For a softer handle, it can be quoted in an acrylic/wool blend or in cotton; the exact composition is stated on the quote and the care label.

   Customization and branding

   Your logo is knitted into the fabric as jacquard or intarsia, so it cannot crack, peel or wash off; embroidery suits small logos and fine detail, and woven neck labels, care labels and hang tags carry your brand. We turn your artwork into a knit file and show you a mockup before sampling; very fine detail is simplified to suit the knit. Mr Balaclava’s name never appears on your products.

   Sizes and fit

   The sweater is cut to a regular fit as standard, which layers well over a shirt or polo; a relaxed fit is possible on request. Adult sizes run from XS to 3XL, and kids sizes of about 4–14 years can be made where needed. The sweater can also be graded to your own size chart, which suits uniform programmes.

   Sampling and production

Bulk production usually takes about 14 days after sample approval, and the schedule is confirmed for each order. Every piece is checked, packed to your specification and shipped with tracking.
