Funny, Scary, Cartoon and Animal Ski Masks: Ready-Made Balaclava Designs for Brands

A tour of our ready-made printed ski mask designs – emoji and funny faces, clowns, skulls and horror, Halloween classics, cartoon characters and animals – and how brands order them as shown, recoloured or with their own logo.

Printed ski masks have moved far beyond plain black. Emoji faces, clowns, skulls, cartoon characters and animal faces now sell to streetwear brands, gift and party shops, festival teams and Halloween ranges all year round. As a custom sublimated balaclava manufacturer, we have built a catalogue of ready-made designs for exactly these buyers.

This guide walks through the design families, shows real examples from our catalogue and explains how to order one: as it is, in your colours, with your logo, or as a starting point for your own artwork. If you want to design from scratch, our balaclava design ideas guide goes deeper into artwork.

Which ready-made ski mask designs can you order?

Every design below is our own original artwork, sublimated edge to edge, so the face or pattern wraps around the whole head and neck. The table gives a quick overview.

Funny ski masks: emoji faces and silly grins

Funny ski masks turn the whole mask into a big printed face. Emoji faces are the easiest to read from a distance and usually work best with two eye openings placed where the emoji eyes sit. Popular examples are the smiling emoji, the tongue-out emoji, the winking moustache emoji, the laughing face and the big grin.

Funny designs sell well beyond Halloween, as gifts, festival items and streetwear. See every design in our funny balaclavas collection.

Clown ski masks: from happy to horror

Clowns cover the whole range from friendly to frightening. The happy clown face and the shouting clown suit party and gift ranges, while the carnival clown, the yellow-eyed clown and the bloody grin clown belong in horror and Halloween collections.

Skull and scary ski masks

Skull faces are a year-round streetwear classic, and darker faces fill horror and Halloween ranges. Examples include the black fanged skull, the black and white skull, the red oni demon, the old biker face and the neon green grinning mask.

Halloween ski mask designs

For seasonal ranges, the pumpkin face, the friendly zombie, the mummy wrap and the neon X-ray skeleton keep the look playful rather than gory. Production takes about 14 days after sample approval, plus time for the mockup, the sample and shipping, so many buyers order two to three months before Halloween.

Cartoon ski masks

Cartoon designs use flat, bright colours and simple shapes, which print very clearly on stretch fabric. Our catalogue includes the blue cartoon cat, the blue fizzy can, the banana monster, the purple monster, the cyclops, the cartoon robot and the cartoon yeti.

Animal ski masks

Animal faces range from cute to realistic: the winking dog face and the pink pig face suit winter fashion and gift ranges, while the snarling wolf, the wolf face and the 3D bulldog suit streetwear and outdoor brands.

Are funny and cartoon ski masks only for Halloween?

No. Funny, cartoon and animal designs usually sell all year to gift shops, festivals, streetwear and winter fashion ranges; Halloween is simply the busiest season for scary designs.
