How much does a sample cost and how do I pay?
Short answer
A pre-production sample is free. A pre-paid (physical) sample is shown as its own line on your quotation and paid 100% in advance; its cost is deducted from your order if the order is 1,000 pieces or more. Its shipping is charged separately and is not refundable.

Pre-production sample
Free. We make it after you place your order and pay the 30% advance, and you approve it on photos, videos or a video call.
Pre-paid (physical) sample
- Cost: depends on the product. It is shown as its own line on your quotation, so you know it before you decide.
- Payment: 100% in advance, before production.
- Deducted from your order: only if your order is 1,000 pieces or more.
- Shipping: charged separately. It is not refundable and is not deducted from your order.
How to pay
The payment method is confirmed on your quotation or invoice. Pay only to the bank account stated there. If you receive payment details that differ, or a message asking you to change them, contact us before you pay. See Which payment methods can I use?
Samples are not paid on our website.
Good to know
- Extra colourways and sizes are quoted per piece.
- If a change affects the construction and a second pre-paid sample is needed, it is quoted and paid in the same way.
- Samples do not count towards the minimum order quantity of 50 pieces per design.

Tip: Ask for the cost of each colourway or size you want to see as a pre-paid sample when you request your quote. Then everything is on one quotation.
