Production and quality
What happens during production?
Short answer
After you confirm the order and approve the sample, we check the materials, knit or cut the fabric, sew and assemble, add your branding and labels, inspect every finished piece and pack your order. All of this happens in our facility in Sialkot, Pakistan.
Bulk production starts after you confirm the order and approve the sample (see Which sample do I need?). Design, sampling, knitting, cutting, sewing, embroidery, printing, quality control and packing all happen in our facility in Sialkot, Pakistan. Fabrics and yarns are bought from mills.
The production steps
- Materials: incoming fabric and yarn are checked for shade, width, weight, defects, shrinkage and stretch recovery.
- Knitting or cutting (production days 1 to 4): circular or flatbed knitting for knitted products, and computer-planned cutting for cut-and-sew products.
- Sewing and assembly (production days 4 to 10): overlock, coverstitch, flatlock and bar-tack seams, as specified in your tech pack.
- Branding and labelling (alongside sewing): your embroidery, print and labels, exactly as approved on the mockup and the sample.
- Quality control (production days 10 to 14): every finished piece is inspected, and you receive batch photos.
- Packing and shipping: your order is packed as specified and handed to the carrier agreed with you. You receive the tracking number.
Payments during production
Bulk orders are paid in three stages: 30% advance payment to confirm the order and begin production. 30% during production after the customer has reviewed the work-in-progress update. Final 40% after the goods have passed quality control and are ready for shipment.
Updates while you wait
Your account manager sends photo updates at the main milestones by email or WhatsApp, including the work-in-progress update. Our system also emails you at every stage of your order, when it ships and when we need your approval. See How will I know how my order is progressing?
With a customer account, each order in My Account also shows its Production stages with dates, from Order confirmed to Delivered. They cover the whole order, including artwork, sample and shipping, so there are more stages than the steps above. See Track your order in My Account.
Shipping
Shipping is priced by the weight of your order: up to 100 kg it travels door to door by express courier with import duties paid by us, and heavier orders go by air cargo, or by sea cargo from 500 kg, to your nearest airport or port. See How will my order be shipped?
