Buyer's guide

What makes a good beach scarf?

A beach scarf has to be light, quick to dry and large enough to wrap around the body. Viscose is the favourite: it drapes softly, feels cool and shows bright prints. Cotton voile is crisp and breathable, chiffon is sheer and floaty, and linen blends add texture.

Most beach scarves are worn several ways, as a sarong, a dress, a shawl or a head wrap, so the size and the print placement matter more than on a neck scarf.

Linen

Why choose linen for a scarf?

Linen fibres are long and hollow, so the fabric breathes, absorbs moisture and dries quickly. A linen scarf feels cool in warm weather and gets softer with every wash, which suits summer and resort collections and brands that sell natural fibres.

Pure linen has a crisp handle and a natural slub texture that creases easily. Blending it with cotton or viscose softens the handle and reduces creasing.

FAQ

Beach scarves: frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for beach scarves?

The minimum order is 50 pieces per design. Larger runs are made on the same lines, with a monthly capacity of around 100,000 pieces.

Which fabric is best for beach scarves?

Viscose is the most popular because it is light and soft, dries quickly and takes bright prints. Cotton voile is crisp and breathable, and chiffon gives a sheer, floaty look.

What size is a sarong?

Most sarongs and beach wraps are about 90 × 180 cm or 110 × 180 cm, large enough to tie around the waist or chest. We make any size you specify.

Can you print a design to match our swimwear?

Yes. Send us the artwork or the swimwear print, and we match colours and scale in a mockup and a sample before production.

Does linen crease?

Yes, pure linen creases easily; it is part of its natural look. A linen-cotton or linen-viscose blend creases less and feels softer.

How long does beach scarf production take?

Standard production lead time is approximately 14 days after sample approval. Actual lead time depends on the product, quantity, customization and material availability, and the confirmed schedule is agreed for each order. Express shipping by DHL, FedEx or UPS then takes 3–6 working days.
