What bamboo and recycled socks are
Bamboo socks are usually made from bamboo viscose: cellulose taken from bamboo and spun into a soft, smooth fibre. It feels silky, absorbs moisture and breathes well. It is blended with cotton, nylon and elastane so the sock is strong and stretches. The fibre is a manufactured viscose, so we describe it as bamboo viscose rather than natural bamboo.
Recycled polyester (rPET) is spun from recycled plastic bottles and used in sport and everyday socks in place of new polyester. Recycled cotton and other recycled fibres are also available on request. We only quote the recycled share and the certificate that the yarn supplier can document, so ask us what your market requires.

What is the minimum order for bamboo and recycled socks?
The minimum order is 50 pairs per design.
Is bamboo viscose the same as natural bamboo?
No. Bamboo viscose is a manufactured cellulose fibre made from bamboo. It is soft and breathable, and we describe it accurately as bamboo viscose.
Can you certify the recycled content?
Recycled content certificates come from the yarn supplier and can be requested for your order. We do not claim a certification unless the supplier can document it.
Are these socks stronger or weaker than cotton socks?
Blended with nylon and elastane they wear well, and recycled polyester is durable. Bamboo viscose alone is weaker when wet, which is why we blend it.
How long does bamboo sock production take?
Standard production lead time is approximately 14 days after sample approval. Actual lead time depends on the product, quantity, customization and material availability, and the confirmed schedule is agreed for each order. Express shipping by DHL, FedEx or UPS then takes 3–6 working days.
