Buyer's guide

Choosing a cashmere scarf for your range

Cashmere fibres are finer than sheep's wool, so a cashmere scarf feels softer and gives more warmth for less weight. Pure cashmere sits at the top of the price range; a cashmere-wool blend keeps much of the softness at a lower cost, and a cashmere-silk blend adds sheen and drape for lighter scarves.

Knitted cashmere scarves have stretch and a soft, rounded handle. Woven cashmere scarves are flatter, drape more and usually finish with twisted fringes. We help you choose the blend and the construction for your price point and confirm the handle in a sample. Pashmina, a very fine cashmere, is available on request.

FAQ

Cashmere scarves: frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for cashmere scarves?

The minimum order is 50 pieces per design. Larger runs are made on the same lines, with a monthly capacity of around 100,000 pieces.

Do you make 100% cashmere scarves?

Yes. We make scarves in 100% cashmere and in cashmere-wool and cashmere-silk blends. The exact composition is stated on the quote and on the care label, and we help you choose the blend for your price point.

Are your cashmere scarves knitted or woven?

Both. We knit cashmere scarves in our own factory. Woven cashmere scarves are made from fabric woven by partner mills, then finished, branded and inspected by us.

Can you make pashmina scarves?

Yes. Pashmina is a very fine cashmere, often blended with silk for light, fluid wraps. Tell us the composition and size you need and we quote it like any other cashmere scarf.

How long does cashmere scarf production take?

Standard production lead time is approximately 14 days after sample approval. Actual lead time depends on the product, quantity, customization and material availability, and the confirmed schedule is agreed for each order. Express shipping by DHL, FedEx or UPS then takes 3–6 working days.
