Custom Merino Helmet Liner – Thin Skull Cap, 14GG

SKU MRB-PPB-717

A helmet liner has to be thin enough to fit under a helmet and warm enough to matter. This skull cap is knitted in fine 14-gauge merino jersey with a low crown and flat seams, so nothing presses under ski, bike or motorcycle helmets. Merino stays warm when damp and resists odour on long days.

About the Custom Merino Helmet Liner

Quick facts: Custom Merino Helmet Liner is a piece of ski wear from Mr Balaclava made in Merino & Wool Yarn Knit. Minimum 50 pieces at $7.80 per piece, lower from 100 pieces. Produced in about 14 days after approval in Sialkot, Pakistan.

In stock in charcoal, and knitted in your colours with your logo from 50 pieces per design.

    • Covers the ears
    • Polyester version for lower prices on request
  2. Specifications

    • Construction: Single jersey, knitted on 14-gauge machines; flat seams
    • Yarn: Merino wool; polyester or recycled polyester on request
    • Shape and fit: Low skull-cap crown that covers the ears
    • Stock colour: Charcoal
    • Sizes: One adult size in stock (fits head sizes of about 54–60 cm); kids and baby sizes, or your own size chart, to order
    • Minimum order: 50 pieces per design
    • Samples: Paid 100% in advance, about 5–7 days

    • Availability: In stock in the colour shown, unbranded and ready for your label. Other colours, yarns, sizes and your own branding are made to order from 50 pieces per design.
  3. Yarns and materials

Knitted from fine merino wool yarn; for a lower price we knit it in polyester yarn. No fabric is cut. Compare every yarn on our knitting yarns page.

  4. Customization and branding

Fine sports knits take small, flat branding best: flat embroidery, a woven label, a silicone patch or a heat transfer on the front or the side, so nothing presses under a helmet. Logos can also be knitted in. Printed care labels, hang tags and team packing finish the order, and Mr Balaclava’s name never appears on your products.

  5. Size and fit

One adult size fits head sizes of about 54–60 cm, close to the head. Check the fit with your helmet on the sample; we can adjust the depth.

  6. Who orders it

    • Outdoor and ski brands
    • Ski schools, resorts and rental shops
    • Sports teams, clubs and schools
  7. Sampling and production

Send your brief with the style, yarn, colours, size, quantities and branding. We confirm every detail in a tech pack and knit a sample, paid 100% in advance and ready in about 5–7 days; a free pre-production sample approved by photos or video after the order is also possible. Bulk production takes about 14 days after sample approval, and every piece is inspected, packed to your specification and shipped with tracking.

  • Colours & logo branding

On Merino & Wool Yarn Knit, embroidery, woven label, printed label, silicone patch and rubber (PVC) patch work well.
