Customization and branding
Logos and patterns are knitted in by jacquard, so they are part of the sock. Full-colour designs can be sublimation-printed on polyester socks, and logos can be embroidered on the cuff. Woven or printed labels, hang tags, paper sleeves and boxes finish the product, and Mr Balaclava's name never appears on it. Every logo and label placement is shown in a mockup and confirmed in a tech pack before sampling.

What is the minimum order quantity?
Catalog styles start at a minimum order of 50 pcs. Tell us your target quantity in the quote request and we’ll confirm it for your project.
How long does production take?
Our standard lead time is 14 days, and 7 days is possible on request. Complex products or very large orders (100,000–200,000 pcs) can take up to one month; your quote confirms the schedule for your order.
Can I get a sample before bulk production?
Yes. We share digital mockups for approval and produce physical samples, so you can check fit, fabric and branding before the bulk run.
Is the factory certified?
Eco Jersey Limited, which powers Mr Balaclava, is ISO 9001 certified and a Sedex member; copies of the certificate and the membership details go to customers with an order history or a substantial order. Monthly capacity is 100K pcs.
What is the difference between ankle and quarter socks?
An ankle sock stops at the ankle bone; a quarter sock rises a few centimetres above it and protects against shoe rub. We sell them as two products, Ankle Socks and Quarter Socks.
Can you knit a logo on a low sock?
Yes. A jacquard logo can sit on the ankle, the toe or the footbed. It is knitted in, so it does not wear off.
Do you pack multipacks?
Yes. Packs of two, three or five pairs in paper sleeves, polybags or boxes, with your barcodes and labels.
How do the quantity prices work?
