Case Study
Project Overview
Mr Balaclava partnered with a European streetwear brand to manufacture a sublimation neck gaiter for its seasonal collection. The brand wanted an all-over printed accessory that delivered sharp color detail across three distinct patterns. It needed consistent print quality across the full 5000-piece order.
The project required accurate all-over sublimation across a stretch fabric tube without color banding or visible fading. Consequently, our team calibrated ink saturation and heat settings before moving into bulk production for the order.
We used our in-house cutting, sublimation, and quality control setup for this project. As a result, we completed and shipped the full order within two weeks.
The Challenge
The client, a European streetwear brand, needed a sublimation neck gaiter produced across three patterns at high volume. Therefore, the project involved manufacturing 5000 pieces using dry fit lycra within a tight two-week production schedule for the full order.
Keeping fine detail sharp across a splatter pattern, a cellular pattern, and a floral pattern created a genuine print challenge for the team. Additionally, each design needed accurate color matching and full ink penetration to avoid fading after repeated wash and wear.
Our Solution
Our production team first ran sublimation tests on each of the three patterns to confirm color accuracy and ink saturation across the board. After confirming the settings, we moved into bulk cutting and printing.
Throughout production, inline inspections tracked print sharpness, color accuracy, and fabric consistency across every pattern batch at each stage. Every gaiter passed final inspection before packing, which kept the print quality uniform across the entire order.
Ultimately, we completed the project within the agreed two-week schedule and prepared it for international shipment.
Detailed Result
The finished gaiters delivered sharp, vivid sublimation prints across all three patterns for the brand's full 5000-piece order. Meanwhile, the lycra kept its shape and stretch. This gave every piece the same fit and printed finish.
Every unit passed final quality inspection with consistent print sharpness, accurate color matching, and clean packaging. As a result, the shipment reached the client ready for retail distribution across Europe.
