   Fabric and materials

   The scarf is knitted in-house on our own flatbed machines as a single-layer acrylic jacquard. The narrow width suits a simple wordmark and clean stripes rather than a detailed crest, which gives the scarf its retro look.

   Customization and branding

   Your crest, club name, slogans and dates are knitted into the fabric in your colours, so the design cannot crack, peel or fade. We turn your artwork into a knit file and show you a mockup before sampling; very fine detail is simplified to suit the knit. You supply the artwork and confirm that you may use it. Woven labels, hang tags and barcodes finish the order for club shops, and Mr Balaclava’s name never appears on your products.

   Size and fit

   At about 13 × 150 cm the scarf is narrower than a standard fan scarf and is worn loosely around the neck or tied, as a fashion piece as much as a match-day scarf. Width, length and the wordmark layout can be set to your specification.

   Send your brief with the style, fabric, colours, size, quantities and branding. We confirm every detail in a mockup and tech pack and make a sample, paid 100% in advance and ready in about 5–7 days; a free pre-production sample approved by photos or video after the order is also possible. Bulk production takes about 14 days after sample approval, and every piece is inspected, packed to your specification and shipped with tracking.
