   Fabric and materials

   The scarf is knitted in-house on our own flatbed machines from soft acrylic yarn in a rib (acrylic rib knit). Acrylic is soft, light and easy to wash, and the rib keeps its shape, which suits children’s wear and school use.

   Customization and branding

   Knitted scarves carry branding that lasts: a logo or wordmark knitted in as jacquard, a woven label at one end, flat embroidery, or a leather-look or rubber patch. Fringes, tassels and stripe layouts follow your design. Care labels, hang tags and retail packing finish the order, and Mr Balaclava’s name never appears on your products.

   Size and fit

   At about 15 × 120 cm the scarf is narrower and shorter than our adult scarves, sized for children to wrap once around the neck. Plain ends without fringes keep it simple. Other children’s sizes can be knitted to your specification.

   Sampling and production

   Send your brief with the style, fabric, colours, size, quantities and branding. We confirm every detail in a mockup and tech pack and make a sample, paid 100% in advance and ready in about 5–7 days; a free pre-production sample approved by photos or video after the order is also possible. Bulk production takes about 14 days after sample approval, and every piece is inspected, packed to your specification and shipped with tracking.
