Mr Balaclava partnered with a U.S. streetwear brand to manufacture a sublimation animal face mask. Specifically, the brand wanted a bold all-over cartoon animal graphic with a wide goggle-style opening. Furthermore, this single design needed sharp detail across a large fabric surface. Additionally, it needed consistent print quality across the full 5000-piece order.
The project required accurate sublimation across facial features, fur texture, and fine shading. Consequently, our team calibrated ink saturation before starting bulk production. As a result, we protected print sharpness across every unit.
We used our in-house cutting, sublimation, and quality control setup for this project. Therefore, we completed the full order within fifteen days. Ultimately, the finished pieces shipped out right on schedule.
The Challenge
The client, a U.S. streetwear brand, needed a sublimation face mask at real production volume. Therefore, the project involved manufacturing 5000 pieces using lycra fabric. Moreover, this had to happen within a tight fifteen-day schedule.
Keeping fine facial detail sharp across a high-stretch fabric created a genuine print challenge. Additionally, the goggle-style opening needed clean, reinforced edges for a secure fit. Therefore, our team refined the print and trim together.
Our Solution
Our production team first tested sublimation settings to lock in color accuracy and detail. Then, after confirming the settings, we moved into bulk cutting and printing. Consequently, every unit matched the approved sample.
Throughout production, inline inspections tracked print sharpness, color accuracy, and fabric consistency at each stage. Subsequently, every mask passed final inspection before packing. As a result, the finish stayed consistent across the order.
Ultimately, we completed the project within the agreed fifteen-day schedule. Consequently, the order shipped fully inspected and ready.
