Buyer's guide
The fisherman beanie comes from the short knitted caps worn by dock workers and fishermen, which sat above the ears so they did not get in the way of work. Today it is a streetwear staple: a short, rib-knitted beanie worn high on the head.
It is sometimes called a docker or watch cap. The shape depends on a short crown and a firm rib, so we usually knit it in a chunky gauge. For a deeper fit that covers the ears, see our cuffed beanies.
Short rib beanies with a small woven label, often in earthy and neutral colours.
Heritage colours and wool blends for a docker look.
Seasonal colour stories in chunky rib.
A neat, short beanie for teams that work indoors and outdoors.
Customization
Every part of the design is yours. Our design team sends a mockup of each logo and label placement, and every detail is confirmed in a tech pack before sampling.
Choose how shallow the crown is and how deep the cuff folds.
Wool or wool blends for the classic look, acrylic for durable basics, merino for softness.
Neutral, earthy or bright colours dyed to your references, or melange yarns for a heathered finish.
A small woven label or a leather or rubber patch on the cuff.

A chunky rib at 5–7GG. It keeps the short shape firm and gives the bold rib texture the style is known for.
Yes. Wool and wool blends are the classic yarns for the style; acrylic and merino are also available.
Standard production lead time is approximately 14 days after sample approval. Actual lead time depends on the product, quantity, customization and material availability, and the confirmed schedule is agreed for each order. Express shipping by DHL, FedEx or UPS then takes 3–6 working days.
