   Fabric and materials

   The square is cut from silk satin (charmeuse) of about 16–19 momme. The satin weave gives a smooth, lustrous face and a matt back, and the weight gives the scarf a fluid drape. Silk satin is usually about 16–22 momme, and the exact weight is confirmed on your quote. The fabric comes from partner mills; we cut, print, hem, inspect and pack in Sialkot.

   Customization and branding

   On silk, branding stays discreet: a signature or logo printed in the design, a small woven or satin label, or an embroidered monogram. Prints are placed for the shape and checked on a sample for colour and scale. Hang tags, tissue wraps and gift boxes in your branding finish the order, and Mr Balaclava’s name never appears on your products.

   Size and fit

   At 90 × 90 cm the square folds into a triangle for the neck or shoulders, ties as a headscarf or knots on a bag. It is softer and more fluid than a silk twill square of the same size. Smaller squares and any size to your specification are made to order.
