Two chapters

## How we make it, and how we work with you

This section is organised around the two questions every buyer has. **Process** explains how a product is made, step by step. **Services** explains how an order works commercially, from the business model to the reorder.

The order journey

## From brief to delivery in five stages

Every order, from a 50-piece test run to a seasonal programme, follows the same route. The [Process chapter](https://mrbalaclava.com/manufacturing/process/) breaks each stage down.

1. **Brief and quote** Send a sketch, a reference product or a tech pack with quantities and a deadline. We reply with a quote and suggested fabrics.
2. **Mockup and tech pack** A digital mockup in 1–3 business days and a tech pack in 3–5, so the sample needs fewer rounds.
3. **Sample approval** A physical sample in 5–7 days, made on the same machines and fabrics as the bulk order.
4. **Production** Knitting or cutting, sewing, branding and inspection in Sialkot. 14 days as standard, 7 on request.
5. **Packing and shipping** Packed to your spec, then 3–6 business days by DHL, FedEx or UPS, with tracking.

FAQ

## Manufacturing with Mr Balaclava: frequently asked questions

**### Where are Mr Balaclava products made?**

In our own facility in Sialkot, Pakistan. Design, sampling, knitting, cutting, sewing, embroidery, printing, quality control and packing are all done there, which is why we can quote a 14-day standard lead time.

**### What is the minimum order quantity?**

50 pieces per design, for every product family and every fabric. Colours and sizes can be split within a design; we confirm the split with your quote.

**### How long does a custom order take?**

Count 1–3 business days for the mockup, 3–5 for the tech pack and 5–7 days for the sample, then 14 days of production as standard (7 on request) and 3–6 business days of shipping. Complex products or very large orders of 100,000–200,000 pieces can take up to one month in production.

**### What is the difference between the Process and Services pages?**

Process pages explain how a product is physically made: fabrics, machines, samples, sizing, branding, quality control and packing. Services pages explain how you work with us: private label and OEM, order sizes, design support, lead times and reorders.

**### Do you make products for other brands only, or do you sell your own?**

We manufacture for other brands. Every product leaves the factory under your label or unbranded. The [B2B Collection](https://mrbalaclava.com/b2b-collection/) shows stock styles you can order blank or branded from 50 pieces.

**### Which certifications can you show?**

Eco Jersey Limited, which powers Mr Balaclava, is ISO 9001 certified and a Sedex member; copies of the certificate and the membership details are shared with customers who have an order history with us or place a substantial order. Fabrics and yarns come from OEKO-TEX® certified mills, and the mill's certificate for your fabric is available on request. Lab test reports for your product are available on request.

**### Can I visit the factory or audit it?**

Yes. Factory visits and third-party audits can be arranged with your account manager. Photo and video updates during production are part of every order.
