Small corrections are written into the tech pack and carried into bulk production; a new sample is made only if the change affects the construction. Bulk production goes ahead only after you approve the sample. That is what the sample is for: changes are easiest before bulk production. Most designs are approved after one sample. ## How to request changes 1. Check the sample, or the photos and videos of a pre-production sample, against the tech pack. 2. Write down each change clearly. Photos with markings help. 3. Send your list to your contact by email or WhatsApp. 4. We update the tech pack and tell you whether a new sample is needed. 5. You approve the updated tech pack, or the new sample. Bulk production goes ahead only after your approval. With a customer account, you can also click **Ask for changes** on the sample photos in My Account, or click **Message us about this order**: it opens the website chat, where you can attach marked-up photos. ## When is a new sample needed? A new sample is made only if a change affects the construction. As a guide: - **Usually no new sample:** a new colourway in the same fabric, label or hang tag artwork, packing, quantities. - **Usually a lab dip** (a colour test): a new custom colour. - **Usually a new sample:** a different fabric or weight, a change to the pattern or construction, a new branding technique or placement. Small corrections that do not need a new sample are written into the tech pack and carried into bulk production. ## Time and cost - A new pre-paid sample takes about 5–7 days, plus courier time, and is quoted and paid in advance like the first one. - For a pre-production sample, we show you the corrected sample on photos, videos or a video call before bulk production continues. ## Changes after approval The approved sample becomes the reference for production and quality control.
