By the Mr Balaclava team · Updated 2026-10-06 Short answer Every quotation shows a Valid until date. You can accept it up to that date. After it, the quotation expires and you can ask us for an updated offer. We do not send an email when a quotation expires, so keep an eye on the date. Every quotation has a **Valid until** date. You find it at the top, next to the quotation number and date. You can accept the quotation up to that date. ## Why quotations expire Our prices depend on fabrics and yarns from mills, and their composition, weight and colour can vary by mill and season. The validity date makes sure that the offer you accept still matches what we can make. ## After the date has passed The quotation expires and can no longer be accepted. We do not send an email when a quotation expires, so keep an eye on the date. To get an updated offer, reply to the quotation email or [contact us](/contact-us/). ## Online quotation links The **View and accept online** link in your quotation email works for 30 days from the day we send it. Each time we send the quotation again or send a reminder, you receive a new link. The link and the quotation have separate dates. If the link no longer opens but the quotation is still valid, ask your Mr Balaclava contact for a new link. ## In your account If you have an account, your quotations stay in **My Account → Quotations**, without a link that expires. An expired quotation moves to **Declined and expired** and says: "This quotation is no longer valid. Please ask us for a new one." ## Revised quotations When we change a quotation, you receive a new revision, for example "rev. 2". Only the latest revision can be accepted; older revisions stay available for reference.
