By the Mr Balaclava team · Updated 2026-10-25 Short answer Shipping is priced by the weight of your order: up to 100 kg it travels door to door by express courier with import duties paid by us, and heavier orders go by air cargo, or by sea cargo from 500 kg, to your nearest airport or port. You see the cost before you order, and it is confirmed before shipment. Shipping is priced by the weight of your order, and the weight decides how it travels. | Order weight | How it travels | Customs and duties | Transit | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Up to 100 kg | Express courier (DHL, UPS, FedEx, DPD or Dpex), door to door | We clear customs and pay the import duties and taxes | 3–6 working days | | Over 100 kg | Air cargo to your nearest airport | You clear customs and pay the duties and taxes | Usually 7–12 working days | | From 500 kg | Sea cargo to your nearest port, or air cargo | You clear customs and pay the duties and taxes | Usually about 40–45 days | For air and sea cargo, our responsibility ends when the goods arrive at the airport or port. Courier shipments are delivered duty paid (DDP), one of the [Incoterms](/help/glossary-incoterms/). ## What it costs Shipping is calculated from the weight of each piece plus about 10% for packing, at the same rates for every country. Courier shipments can go to your warehouse, to a fulfilment partner or to a marketplace fulfilment centre. ## A special shipping quote If you need another arrangement, for example shipping on your own DHL, FedEx or UPS account, ask us for a special shipping quote. On your own account, you handle duties directly with the courier. ## Samples A pre-paid sample travels by express courier to your door. Its shipping is charged separately and is not refundable.
