By the Mr Balaclava team · Updated 2026-10-06 Short answer A vector file of your logo (AI, EPS or PDF) and the Pantone references of your colours are best. If you only have a JPEG or PNG, our design team redraws it as a vector. Send your files by email, or upload them with the Request a quote form when you have a tech pack or reference sheet. The best starting point is a [vector file](/help/glossary-vector-file/) of your logo in AI, EPS or PDF format, and the [Pantone](/help/glossary-pantone/) references of your colours. Vector files stay sharp at any size, which matters for both embroidery and printing. ## What to send - Your logo or artwork as a vector file (AI, EPS or PDF) - The Pantone references of your colours - How and where you want it applied, for example embroidered on the front or printed inside the neck - Label and hang tag artwork, if you have it - A sketch, photo or reference product, if you have one ## Only have a JPEG or PNG? That is fine. Our design team redraws it as a vector. Logo preparation for embroidery (digitising) is part of our development work; any set-up charge is shown on your quotation. ## For embroidery Send a vector logo and we convert it into a stitch file. You see the result twice: on the digital mockup at real size, and on your sample, in your hands or on photos and video. Very fine text and colour gradients are hard to embroider; see [Which decoration methods do you offer?](/help/decoration-methods/) ## How to send your files - **Request a quote form**: in step 2, choose **I already have a tech pack or reference sheet** to upload up to 3 files of 10 MB each (PDF, PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF, SVG, AI, EPS or ZIP). The other choice, **I am working on the tech pack and need a quote for my idea**, has no upload. Either way, you can reply to the confirmation email to add files. - **Email** contact@mrbalaclava.com, for example for larger files. If your files are very large, ask us how best to send them. - **WhatsApp** +92 370 7981102 for quick questions and photos. - The contact form on our Contact page has no file upload. - **Website chat**: click **Attach a file** (one file per message, 10 MB; JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, PDF, AI, EPS, DOCX or XLSX; no SVG or ZIP). - **Order Builder**: in the **Branding and artwork** step, upload up to 6 files of 25 MB each (PDF, AI, EPS, PNG or JPG). SVG is not accepted there, so save your logo as PDF. You can also choose **I will send my artwork later**. Any set-up charge, such as embroidery digitising, is shown in the builder's price summary. - **My Account**: while you have an order in production, use **Upload artwork or a file** under Documents or on the order page (up to 25 MB per file). Files you send are kept with your request or order, so we can produce and reorder your product (see our [Privacy Policy](/policies/privacy-policy/)). After we receive your artwork, we prepare a mockup for you to approve.
